I am an astrophysicist/cosmologist in the Physics & Astronomy Department at the University of California, Riverside. I am particularly interested in the period of our Universe's history when the first galaxies formed.
I was born and raised in Middletown, Connecticut. I did my undergraduate work at UC Riverside, graduating in 2005 with a B.S. in Physics (minor in Math). I went to graduate school at Yale University, where I received my Ph.D. in Physics in 2011. I held postdoctoral positions at the University of Texas at Austin, and the University of Washington, before taking a faculty position at UC Riverside in 2017.
